DJ vision

DJ Vision is a Los Angeles-based DJ who has primarily supported OhGeesy as his tour DJ, accompanying him on his 2022 tour. Visit Geezyworldas well as a tour with YG on The Red Cup Tour featuring OhGeesy and YG artists 4Hunnid, Day Sulan and D3SZN. The first tour on his social networks is that of YG Donald Trump’s F*ck Tour in 2016, with Kamaiyah, RJ (aka RJMrLA) and Sad Boy.

Kamaiyah

Kamaiyah is an interesting addition to the lineup because of the history between her and YG. After receiving a good reception for his 2016 mixtape A good night in the ghetto, she signed with 4Hunnid Records as one of YG’s first artists distributed through Interscope. However, after the release of his first album delayed several timesshe left both labels in a rather controversial split. It seems the two are back on better terms now that Yaya has become independent again. She has continued to release new music, releasing her most recent full-length album, Oakland nightsin 2020, and an EP, Dive Timing, Last year. She has released a steady stream of new singles in 2023, including “Shot Callin’,” “All Night” and “Heat Warning.”

Wallie the Sensei

Wallie The Sensei is a newer artist – where else? — Compton, who released his first album, giftedin 2021, followed in 2022 by Here 2 Stay. He approaches rap with the contemporary melodic flow popular with fellow Hub City natives like Roddy Ricch and Kalan.FrFr, singing about the heartbreak of growing up amid neighborhood politics. Based on an early biography on a local rap blog Avenue Rosecrans. (what’s up, Vic!), his goal is to provide a positive attitude and advice to those stuck in similar situations – hence the “sensei” in his stage name. On Instagram, he identified himself as “Hope Dealer” and his music certainly seems to offer a glimmer of hope amidst the emotional catharsis.
