Why Did Pardi Diss Megan Thee Stallion?

Breakups can be difficult. For celebrities, it can be even trickier because it happens in public. Last week, rappers Megan you stud And Pardison Fontaine (also known as Pardi) divide has been the most talked about romantic spinoff in hip-hop.

In his latest single, “Cobra“, Megan alleged that infidelity on Pardi’s side contributed to their downfall. “I busted him, caught him cheating, got his dick sucked in the same place I was sleeping,” she rapped. After being flooded with fan reactions, Pardi posted his own response. So why did Pardi talk Megan out of it? According to Pardi’s last song, “Thee Person”, it was to clear his name.

“After seeing people dragging out your name. And talk about yourself unfavorably. In order to get attention and clicks,” Pardi said in the song’s introduction. “I never thought you would do something like that to me. Oh, I would like to apologize for no longer following your lies or supporting your habits of telling half-truths.

Later in the song, Pardi appeared to confirm that he had left the relationship. But in her words, it didn’t happen the way Megan told it. “Hire some detectives, girl, you feds/Not in your house, not in your bed/You lying to people, you’re sick in the head,” Pardi rapped.
