Jon Bon Jovi, 62, isn't sure if he'll be able to tour again anytime soon. The musician underwent vocal cord surgery about two years ago. Apparently he's still not quite well. In an interview with radio station Mix 104.1 Boston, he stated that he is still recovering and could not confirm if he plans to tour with his band for the upcoming album Forever.

He wants to tour again, “but I'm still recovering from major surgery,” Jon Bon Jovi said. The singer underwent the procedure in 2022 after one of her vocal cords “wasted,” she previously revealed.

The musician also explained in the interview that he is recovering and took time to record one song a day for the album. But it was “my need, my desire, my longing to be able to play two and a half hours a night, four nights a week for months,” Bon Jovi told the radio station. “And so I work towards that goal.”

The 40-year-old band Bon Jovi recently revealed their new studio album “Forever”. It should be released on June 7. The first single “Legendary” has already been released. Bon Jovi wrote on Instagram about the new album: “I've been waiting for this moment.”

Jon Bon Jovi's son will soon marry a US star

But apparently, the musician is not just waiting for a new album. Jon Bon Jovi also has reason to celebrate in his private life. His son Jake Bongiovi (21) is engaged to actress Millie Bobby Brown (20). Jon Bon Jovi has already raved about his son's “wonderful” partner. He is not afraid that they may be too young to marry. “I think all my kids have found people they can grow up with and we like them all,” he said in a radio interview.
