The music world is excited: one of the most influential rock bands of all time, AC/DC, will finally be performing live again after a long absence from the stage. As seen on AC/DC's official website, the band have made official their plans for an extensive European tour that will include nine dates in Germany.

The return of AC/DC on stage

This comeback is a long-awaited event for fans. Last October, AC/DC celebrated their glorious return to the stage with a performance at the Powertrip festival in California. Back behind the microphone was Brian Johnson, who had to take a break from his position in the band in 2016 due to serious hearing problems and was temporarily replaced by Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose. Now, enhanced with the latest hearing technology, he returns and completes the legendary ensemble that made a comeback in 2020 with the album “Power Up”.

Being hard rock stars with hits like 'Highway to Hell' and 'Thunderstruck', it's no surprise that the announcement of a 'Power Up' tour across Europe is generating huge interest. German fans can be especially happy as the band will be rocking the following cities from May to July:

May 17: Gelsenkirchen (Veltins Arena)

May 21: Gelsenkirchen (Veltins Arena)

June 9: Munich (Olympic Stadium)

June 12: Munich (Olympic Stadium)
