Based on the oxymoron “War is peace,” Putin pursues the opposite of friendship with his counter-event to the Paris Olympics. It's an attempt at another hostile takeover.

YoIn September the so-called “World Friendly Games” will be held in Russia. This is reminiscent of George Orwell's classic “1984”: loosely based on the famous oxymoron “War is Peace.” President Putin with its counter-event to the Paris Olympic Games, the opposite of friendship.

First: they are Putin's revenge against the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Russia banned the flag and anthem at the Paris Games. Second, they are intended to represent the size of the Russian regime, which is already in its third bloody year trying in vain to subjugate its Ukrainian neighbor.
