How good is the current version of the ChatGPT AI chatbot? Good enough that thousands of companies around the world are already using it profitably. However, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman sees it differently.
ChatGPT is currently “incredibly stupid,” Altman told MIT Technology Review. What they really want is for ChatGPT to “know absolutely everything about my life, every email, every conversation I've ever had.”
ChatGPT is intended to fulfill desires before expressing them.
In his opinion, this will happen soon. In this way, ChatGPT will become a “super competent colleague”. ChatGPT will fulfill wants and needs before you express them.
However, Altman did not say when the final form of ChatGPT might be on the market. He also did not reveal when the next version of the AI chatbot, GPT-5, will be ready.
