The third edition of “RTL Turmsprung” took place on Friday evening. Once again, German celebrities ventured onto the diving board with the hope that their faces would not be splashed in the water soon after, a wish that did not become a reality for everyone. Of course, in the end there were not only losers, but also worthy winners who, as expected, rose to the winner's podium.

René Cassely won the “RTL Diving Show”.

In the individual category, the extraordinary artist René Casselly (27) could not be missed once again. He's used to coming out on top at the end of a challenge — whether as a course champion on “Ninja Warrior” or as a “dance star” on the dance format “Let's Dance,” which he won in 2022. In “RTL Diving”, he beat Fabian Hambüchen (36) and Philipp Boyd (36), who are also experienced gymnasts.

It was the second attempt for Casselly, who actually wanted to compete last year. However, a training injury stopped the artist: in the event of a blow, both of his eardrums burst. A year late, now the ambitious 27-year-old has a happy ending.

Three “Naja Warrior” stars on the winners' podium of “RTL Diving”.

Speaking of the second attempt: on Friday night, a pair competition was also held with an injured amateur diver. Among others, Thorsten (55) and Nico Legat (25) dared to take on this demanding task – although the ex-footballer was seriously injured in an accident for the 2022 edition: Legat came off a three-meter board during a training jump. unlucky in the water and tore one of his testicles – it even had to be removed later!

Lega certainly could not be accused of lacking courage. However, this was not enough to triumph with her son – the double of Ada Theilken and Benni Grams proved to be too strong during the evening. The two “Ninja Warrior” stars won the competition to complete the winning ninja trio alongside Casselly.
