It is the reactions of German politicians to Iran's attack on Israel that is terrifying. The regime has never hidden its desire for destruction.

People in German politics seem surprised. “Tonight #Iran showed its true colors,” wrote FDP Federal Minister Bettina Stark-Watzinger on Sunday on X (formerly Twitter). The German ambassador to Israel, Steffen Seibert, described the attack on “without precedents”. Chancellor Olaf Scholz aware In X, the attack was “irresponsible.” Minister of Foreign Affairs, Annalena Baerbock demanded called on Iran to “immediately stop” the attack.

Reactions in German politics show a surprising lack of knowledge about the Iranian regime: this attack was unprecedented and irresponsible. He followed the brutal logic of the Iranian rulers. These rulers have never followed the requests of the West. And the Islamic Republic has shown its “true face” from the first day of its existence.

Since 1979, countless people in Iran have been protesting against the regime. They suffer death, torture and prison because they want them and their country to finally be free from this brutal dictatorship. In this dictatorship, women and children are systematically raped, tens of thousands of political prisoners are massacred and young people are persecuted and executed. The Islamic Republic's Revolutionary Guard has carried out terrorist attacks around the world for decades. They are the lifeline of terrorist organizations like Hamas and Hezbollah.

Countdown to the destruction of Israel

One of the Guard's most important goals has been publicly stated thousands of times: the destruction of Israel. A special clock was installed in Tehran to count the days until annihilation. Neither Hamas' terror nor Hezbollah's rocket fire from Lebanon would be possible or even conceivable without the regime. It was a matter of time before a direct attack followed.

German politicians know everything. This is also due to many people in Iran who risk their lives every day to transmit information about the regime to foreign countries. In Germany, a large number of activists have witnessed the regime's crimes for years. They tirelessly point out to politicians the dangers posed by the Revolutionary Guards. They have long demanded that the Revolutionary Guards be part of the EU terrorist list.

Solo: Nothing happened. Appeasement and reverence for the regime continue to shape German policy toward Iran. No significant sanctions, more negotiations with those in power, protection from the Revolutionary Guards: that is the reality of German foreign policy after 45 years of terror by the Islamic Republic. When Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock and Olaf Scholz express solidarity with Israel, as they did after the weekend attack, it seems too hypocritical.

The people who suffer are those in Iran and Israel.

There is a lack of humility in German reactions to the Iranian regime's attack. Humility in the face of wrong decisions in the past. That should be a cause for concern. Your own mistakes don't seem to be seen. You simply can't change what you can't see. That is why it is to be feared that German policy continues to trivialize the Tehran regime. It is the people who suffer. In Israel and Iran.
